Free Attorney Assistance for Eligible Applicants (USCIS Fees Still Apply)
Becoming a United States citizen or maintaining lawful permanent resident status can be an important milestone, but the application process can often feel overwhelming. Volunteer attorneys and trained volunteers will be available to assist eligible individuals with:
- Naturalization (U.S. citizenship) applications
- Green card renewal applications
- General guidance regarding required forms and supporting documentation
The clinic is designed to help applicants better understand the process and receive assistance in completing and submitting the appropriate paperwork.
Individuals interested in receiving assistance are encouraged to attend and bring their green card together with information on addresses, travel, and work history in the last 5 years and any relevant immigration documents, identification, and records relating to their applications.
Calling All Volunteers
We are also seeking volunteers to help make this clinic a success.
Whether you are an attorney, law student, interpreter, or community member interested in serving immigrant communities, your time and expertise can make a meaningful difference.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Assisting with client intake and registration
- Helping applicants organize documents
- Providing language interpretation services
- Supporting attorneys with application preparation
- Assisting with event logistics and community outreach
No matter your level of experience, we welcome individuals who are committed to expanding access to legal resources and supporting immigrant families.
Strengthening Our Communities Through Service
Access to reliable legal assistance can have a lasting impact on individuals and families seeking to build their future in the United States. By bringing together legal professionals, volunteers, and community organizations, this clinic helps ensure that more people have access to the information and support they need.
We invite community members who may benefit from these services to attend, and we encourage those who wish to give back to join us as volunteers.
Together, we can help make the pathway to citizenship and lawful permanent residence more accessible for our neighbors and communities.
We look forward to seeing you on September 18 at the Clark County Library. Please refer to the attached document for registration details.
